I agree with Matt Zagula ‘s assessment of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ‘s position. However, I also think that this guy actually WAS NOT acting in his clients’ best interests. There are plenty of hybrid RIAs that DO. I read the entire case. It is what makes people hate annuities. SMH.
