The Annuity Compliance Lead or Senior Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing our annuity compliance programs, including annuity suitability; researching and analyzing related legislation and regulations; and drafting and administering related compliance policies and procedures.

Annuity Compliance Lead
Senior Compliance Analyst
- Develop and administer assigned annuity compliance programs to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulatory and statutory requirements.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and third parties on suitability review, training, reporting, monitoring, audits, management, and program enhancement.

- Consult, educate, and provide guidance and support to business units on annuity compliance policies, standards, requirements, and activities.

- Prepare and file periodic reports to maintain compliance with various laws. Prepare insurance department reports and may be responsible for corporate reporting.

- Respond or assist with responses to Department of Insurance complaints, grievances, appeals, and consumer complaints.

- Research allegations, review policy language, and assist in responding to claims, new business, and customer service legal actions and complaints.
- Conduct preliminary research into allegations, policy language, and make recommendations to management regarding response to claims, new business, and customer service legal actions and complaints.
- Train, mentor, support, and develop any reporting compliance analysts by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.

Education And Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree. Combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Experience
- Senior Compliance Analyst: 3+ years of insurance compliance experience.
- Annuity Compliance Lead: 5+ years of insurance compliance experience.
- Previous annuity compliance experience required for both levels.
